"Will Of The Whitetails" Print

This print is from an oil painting composition based on a variety of memorable experiences in the forests of Ontario. The whitetail doe is from a photo reference from a good friend while the buck is from my own photo reference. It seemed natural to put them together. The remainder of the composition is very common to see in Ontario so I wanted to capture it in a painting and now want to share it with you as an available print. Whitetail deer are beautiful animals but you should be careful. There are more people hurt by whitetail deer than any other animal in North America. I have had my own experience with aggressive bucks during the rutting season. They don't look for trouble in general so don't worry if you see one. Enjoy the moment but leave them alone. I think the statistics are so high because people are unaware of the danger and approach them too readily. Anyway, you won't have to worry about it if you are hanging a print on your wall.
