"Alone" Print

The photo reference was taken while hiking the Sommerville Tract in Ontario. Many locations look like this and disappear into the horizon. Take note of the paths in the marsh. The moose use these for access to the water as well as escape routes from predators. This composition competes with a few others as my favorite. I sat at this spot for 6 hours and loved every moment of it. It was in front of an abandoned beaver dam so there was lots of shelter from the wind and winter cold. I can still feel the warmth on my face. Hopefully you will too when you add this piece to your art collection.
