"The Fly Guy" Print

If you love to fish then I would highly recommend you take up the art of fly fishing. It offers much more than baitcasting, spinning reel fishing or ice fishing. That's not to say I don't spend as much of my time enjoying those methods of fishing as well. If you fish, you will do it any way and as often as you can. The difference is in how you fish. Fly fishing almost feels like a martial art (I know this because I am a martial artist). It is fluid in it's movements and it is based on precision. As an added bonus you can learn the fine art of fly tying. Be forewarned... don't give up hahahah. Your first few flies may not be what you expect. Like everything in life practice makes perfect. That is what I am trying to convey in this print of a recent oil painting I completed. Hopefully by hanging this on your den or office wall it will remind you of how peaceful it is to be alone on a river testing your skills (and possibly testing your hand-made flies) against some very suspicious fish.
